Developer API

Build your own app

The MemeBoss HTTP API lets any product search and fetch published meme clips — bots, browser extensions, mobile apps, or custom pipelines. You authenticate with a personal API key and call simple REST endpoints.

How to get started

  1. Create an account and generate an API key on the developer portal.
  2. Send the key as Authorization: Bearer mk_… on each request.
  3. Call meta for categories/emotions, then search, trending, items, or collections to load clips.
  4. Use the returned video and poster URLs in your product UI.
